Our REAL leaf collection is now available in 7 finishes, including our latest style which is a vibrant Rose Gold. It was chosen by the UK's "Autumn Fair" for their catwalk debut - an impressive accolade! The leaves are available in 5 sizes - from small to jumbo and include Oak, Cottonwood, Birch, Aspen and Maple with prices ranging from R295 to R595. They look stunning worn either as a dramatic choker or at a fashionable longer length. We have chains available in all colours from 40cm to 90cm so however you like to wear your pendant we are confident we can offer you a chain to match.
The leaves go through several stages to look as good as they do before they reach you: First, each leaf is checked for imperfection, as only perfect leaves can to used to make our jewellery. Then the leaf is fitted with an electrical contact point, and hand painted with a copper solution. Once this has dried, the leaves are placed in an electrolytic solution, which has microscopic particles of 24k gold (nickel free). The electrical contact attracts the particles of gold and the metal builds up on the leaf to the perfect thickness, which preserves even the most intricate and minute surface details. Finally, the leaves are cleaned and quality checked again, as the shiny new coatings magnify any tiny imperfections..... Natural leaves preserved beautifully! |
